The Next Millennium’s Schools will be Forum-based

You will hear a lot from us about our deep partnership with Jeff Snipes. Jeff is a YPOer. He’s been a thought partner and investor. After building and selling the legendary leadership development pioneer, PDI Ninth House, Jeff dedicated himself to bringing Forum to the world of education. He founded Millennium School, a thriving private middle school in San Francisco, where the kids, teachers, and parents are all in Forum. Millennium Schools has been widely studied as an example of a high-functioning school. Jeff has also created Millennium Forum, a Forum program supporting K-12 teachers across the world. And recently, he’s built a Forum system to transform whole school cultures, with several school systems reporting transformative results. Recently, an article profiling Jeff’s work, Forum as a Transformative Method of Whole Self Education, was published as a chapter in a book called “Redefining Spiritual Spaces in an Age of Technology.” It is an awesome read. Jeff tells story after story, many with quantified impact, from his work. The methodology is simple and polished. His focus on education allows him to connect to deep principles from social-emotional learning that resonate with educators. This is one of our favorite examples of Forum outside the world of CEOs.
